Common questions

  • My dashboard is empty. Data appears after a successful ingestion run. Check that a cloud connection is set up and that a load has completed on the Tasks page.
  • The numbers don’t look right. Every figure comes from SQL over the ingested data — use the cost explorer to trace a total back to its line items, and confirm the right date range and filters.
  • Chat says it can’t answer. Ask about cost, usage, services, regions, providers, or time windows. If a question is ambiguous, Koala asks a clarifying question — see Ask Koala AI.
  • Spend isn’t attributed to an application. Untagged resources need labels — see Allocation for how Koala recommends application labels.
  • I can’t see another team’s data. That’s by design — tenant isolation means each business unit sees only its own data. See Tenancy & users.
