# Download & Install

> How to install Koala Data Explorer Studio on your machine

## 1. Get the Installer

1. Visit the [Koala download portal](https://www.btsscorp.com/koala-data-explorer/) (the same link appears in your license email and Freshdesk articles).
2. Choose the installer for your OS:
   * **macOS:** `.dmg`
   * **Windows:** `.msi`

## 2. Install

### macOS

1. Double-click the downloaded `.dmg`.
2. Drag **Koala Data Explorer Studio** into your `Applications` folder.
3. If macOS flags the app as “from an unidentified developer,” right-click the app, choose **Open**, and confirm.

### Windows

1. Double-click the downloaded `.msi`.
2. Follow the on-screen wizard to complete installation.
3. Launch Koala Studio from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut.

## 3. Sign In

* Launch the app and sign in with your Koala credentials.
