## Common questions

* **My dashboard is empty.** Data appears after a successful ingestion run. Check that a [cloud connection](/finops/connections/connect-clouds) is set up and that a [load](/finops/connections/ingestion) has completed on the **Tasks** page.
* **The numbers don't look right.** Every figure comes from SQL over the ingested data — use the [cost explorer](/finops/explorer) to trace a total back to its line items, and confirm the right date range and filters.
* **Chat says it can't answer.** Ask about cost, usage, services, regions, providers, or time windows. If a question is ambiguous, Koala asks a clarifying question — see [Ask Koala AI](/finops/chat).
* **Spend isn't attributed to an application.** Untagged resources need labels — see [Allocation](/finops/allocation) for how Koala recommends application labels.
* **I can't see another team's data.** That's by design — tenant isolation means each business unit sees only its own data. See [Tenancy & users](/finops/account/tenancy-and-users).
